Jemma & Oliver - Botley Hill Barn, May, Summer

The Day

This tonal colour pop early summer May wedding was an absolute explosion of colour, bursting with all the summery goodies, flower heavy and vibrant AF.

The Brief

Jemma contacted us back in December 2022 to assist with her Italian themed wedding. She wanted to infuse the wedding with beautiful vibrant florals that showed that Italian Zest!

The Flowers

We wanted to create designs that really packed a punch, with citrus tones at the heart of the design. Think Orange groves in Sicily! We used a beautiful selection of choice flowers that included mind blowing coral Peonies, Orange Cayenne Roses from Equador, Just More & Paloma Royal Garden Roses & two tone Flinders Lane spray Roses. To soften these big blooms of Peonies & Roses we added Snapdragons, Larkspur, Sweet Peas, Asclepia & Limonium.

The Ceremony & Wedding Breakfast

The main event was the floral posts in the ceremony Barn at Botley Hill Barn, with the red brick walls and lit fire, the palette our couple chose synchronized perfectly. The posts were filled with a mixture of textured foliage and we provided fresh rose petals for a colourful “Confetti Shot”!

The floral posts were then shimmied through to the Main Barn for the wedding breakfast to be enjoyed whilst guests ate their dinner and listened to speeches.
