At Holly and the Dragonfly, we—Holly and Laura—have built our brand around the incredible power of flowers to inspire, energise, and transform.
I’m Holly, and for me, flowers are all about uplifting energy and a beautiful escape from the everyday. When life gets overwhelming, I’ve found that flowers offer a vibrant, refreshing break—a way to recharge my spirit and fill my world with positivity. They’re not just pretty to look at; they’re a lifeline, bringing a burst of colour and life that helps me step out of the mundane and into something extraordinary. If you’re like me and crave that sense of escape and energy, you’ll understand the magic that flowers bring into our lives.
And then there’s Laura—she’s the dragonfly in our story. Laura believes heartily in transformation and renewal. Growing up, her family experienced the loss of a very dear family member, and whilst young she was deeply moved by the story “Water bugs & Dragonflies,” where a simple water bug transforms into a beautiful dragonfly and soars into a brighter world above.
This story has stuck with her, shaping how she sees life as a series of beautiful transformations. Laura believes that just like the dragonfly, we’re all on a journey of change and growth, and flowers are a perfect reflection of that. They remind us that everything has a moment in time & a season and to see the beauty in our own transformations and the possibilities that come with embracing change.
Together, we’ve created Holly and the Dragonfly to share this passion for flowers & life with you. Our floral designs aren’t just about arranging flowers—they’re about capturing the spirit of escape, the energy that fuels us, and the transformations that shape who we are.

Rooted in respect for nature and guided by taste, we work entirely floral foam free, sourcing from local British growers wherever possible. This allows us to create designs that feel wild yet refined, effortless rather than overworked, and deeply connected to their surroundings.
At the heart of our work is a desire to create spaces that feel like home — welcoming, immersive, and full of warmth. Flowers that don’t just dress a room, but transform how it feels to be there.
