Wedding Flowers at Millbridge Court | Claire & Olly's Romantic Summer Wedding
When it comes to wedding flowers at Millbridge Court, one of the things we love most about the venue is its ability to feel both elegant and relaxed at the same time.
Claire and Olly's July wedding was the perfect example.
Despite on-and-off rain throughout the day and soaring summer temperatures, the atmosphere remained effortlessly joyful. Guests moved between the venue's light-filled spaces while soft pinks, delicate whites and layers of seasonal flowers brought a sense of romance and abundance to every corner.
For their wedding flowers, we designed a flower-filled scheme centred around some of our favourite summer blooms, including garden roses, delphinium, butterfly ranunculus and delicate clouds of Ammi. The palette remained soft and understated, allowing the natural movement and texture of the flowers to take centre stage.
Claire's bouquet was designed to feel loose, natural and full of life, combining elegant garden roses with airy seasonal ingredients that reflected the relaxed feeling of the day. Throughout the reception space, low floral arrangements, bud vases and candlelight created an atmosphere that felt intimate and welcoming rather than overly formal.
One of the reasons we love designing wedding flowers for Millbridge Court is the venue's versatility. The contemporary interiors provide a beautiful blank canvas for florals, while the surrounding gardens and countryside create endless opportunities for natural, romantic photography—even when the British weather has other plans.
As the evening drew in, soft candlelight, delicate pink accents and abundant floral details transformed the reception space into a setting that felt warm, personal and effortlessly romantic.
For couples planning a wedding at Millbridge Court, flowers have the ability to completely transform the atmosphere of the day. Whether you're drawn to something understated and elegant or abundant and immersive, thoughtful floral design helps connect every part of the celebration and create a wedding that feels truly personal.
If you're planning your wedding at Millbridge Court and would like to explore flowers and styling that are designed around atmosphere, seasonality and your unique aesthetic, we'd love to hear from you.
